Did you know Poets Anonymous K-Zoo is a certified poetry slam? This means a number of things, including Poetry Slam, Inc. (PSI), the governing body of poetry slam, allows us to legally refer to ourselves as a poetry slam. It also allows us to send a team to the National Poetry Slam every year. Most importantly, however, we are a part of an international family of slam poets. We are not alone in Kalamazoo. We have slam friends in Detroit, Chicago, New York, Seattle, Vancouver, and even Paris, France.

Poets Anonymous K-Zoo Tournament Selection

PAKZOO will now be running three separate tournaments for three separate national events: The National Poetry Slam (NPS), the Individual World Poetry Slam (iWPS), and the World of Women Poetry Slam (WOWps). All three tournaments will use traditional slam rules. It is possible that the tournament rules will change year to year. However, these changes will updated and posted well in advance of the tournament in question.
